Bongo Cat is a tiny cat that sits at the bottom of your screen and plays along while you use your computer. Every key you press or click makes it slap your taskbar, and each slap earns points. You don't need to do anything special. Typing an email, playing another game and working all count. You spend the points unlocking item drops, mostly hats and other cosmetics for the cat. Drops come in tiers. About 90% are common and 9.5% uncommon, while legendary items are listed at 1 in 500,000, and the developer notes that the odds may change. There are plenty of ways to change how your cat looks, and building that collection is the only real goal. The game is free on Steam from Irox Games and is based on the Bongo Cat meme and the artwork by StrayRogue. It's less a game you sit down to play and more a companion that turns normal computer time into slow idle progress. Good for anyone who wants something cute on screen while they work.
