Decay

Decay is an incremental about building atoms. You set a particle launcher, which may have come out of a dumpster behind the lab, with a number of protons and neutrons, fire it, and see what nucleus you get. The bigger you go, the more unstable they are, and the longer the decay chains you get to watch. Successful experiments earn money, and money buys upgrades for the lab, which earns you more money. That's the loop, and the game is openly aware of it. Later you build extra test chambers and automate them, so several experiments run at the same time. There are hundreds of isotopes to discover, and the goal is to find all of them. The decay chains are based on real physics, so you can look up how a favorite isotope forms and what it breaks down into. It came out on Steam in May 2026 from Racctuality, who promise that buyers get every future gameplay update and that there will be no paid gameplay DLC. Good for anyone who likes science, or who wants an incremental with a real periodic table behind it.
