A directory built for idlers, by an idler.

The genre deserved a real home.

Incremental games are everywhere: buried in Steam tags, scattered across itch.io, hidden in browser bookmarks from 2014. I kept losing track of the good ones, and the directories that did exist felt like phone-book listings: alphabetical, joyless, and indifferent to what makes the genre tick.

So I built the directory I wanted to use. One that treats prestige loops, big-number math, and offline progression as features worth highlighting, not footnotes.

Every game on this site gets opened, clicked, and given enough time to show its first prestige or its first wall. Then it gets tagged by what it actually is (idle, clicker, incremental, hybrid), by where you can play it, and by the mechanics that define it.

A huge chunk of what you'll find here comes from the talented builders over at r/incremental_games. Solo devs and hobbyists shipping wildly creative prototypes, prestige systems, and full-blown games. If you love the genre, that subreddit is where the next favorite is being posted right now.

Spotted something missing or wrong? The submit page is the fastest way in. Suggestions go into the same queue as everything else.

One builder, one studio.

I'm Fabian, a passionate idle-game player who has probably spent more hours watching numbers go up than I'd like to admit. I design, code, and curate INCREMENTAL myself, in between sessions of whatever I'm currently prestiging.

The site is shipped and maintained through Dibe.agency, my studio in Zürich. Dibe builds directories, tools, and content sites that are actually useful. INCREMENTAL is one of them.
