Far Mining

Far Mining sends a small ship into deep space to break up asteroids. Your ship shoots at nearby rocks by itself, so all you need to do is fly close and keep it there while resources pile up. Those resources feed a large technology tree. It raises your ship's power, unlocks new mining tools and upgrades the ones you already have, so the asteroids break apart faster and faster. The goal is to mine your way out of deep space. It's a relaxed game with a lot of repetition. The developer, LostVolBytes, lists the playtime at roughly two and a half to three hours, and it came out on Steam in June 2026. If you enjoyed Far Fishing from the same studio, this one follows the same idea with mining in place of fishing. It's a good fit for anyone who wants a short, low-effort incremental to play while listening to something, or to finish over a quiet evening.
