Dig a hole in your new garden, sell what you find, upgrade the shovel and keep going down.

A Game About Digging A Hole is the minimalist first-person dig game that kicked off a whole wave of chore incrementals. You have just bought a house, there is a garden, and you start digging. Everything you bring up can be sold, and the money buys a better shovel, a bigger backpack and gear that gets you deeper faster. The loop is simple and very hard to put down: dig, surface, sell, upgrade, dig again. Further down, the hole starts hinting at a secret, which gives the grind a destination. It is short, cheap and made by a solo developer in their spare time.
