TBH: Task Bar Hero

TBH: Task Bar Hero is a whole hack-and-slash RPG squeezed into a tiny strip that sits on your taskbar. You leave it running and your pixel heroes fight, pick up loot and level up on their own, even while you're working in other programs. It's light enough to run alongside other apps. The depth is in the builds. You combine classes, items and skills, and the Cube System lets you add and change stats on your gear. There are 3 acts and 4 difficulty tiers, more than 500 items and over 50 monster types. Loot comes in rarities from Common and Rare up to Divine and Cosmic, and items can be traded on the Steam Market. It's free to play and came out in May 2026. The controls are simple, so you can pick it up for a minute or leave it on all day. It's a good choice for anyone who wants an idle RPG that stays out of the way while they do something else.
