Coal LLC

Coal LLC puts you in charge of a cheerfully evil coal company. You start with a bad pickaxe and a daily quota, and if you miss the quota things go badly for you. Every day the underground resets, so each day is a race to dig as much and as deep as you can before night. You hire workers, then promote them into specialist roles that come with their own bonuses and gear, and you keep upgrading equipment. The staff count keeps climbing, and the game lets it grow into hundreds, thousands and eventually billions of miners. The methods get stranger as you go, and the world around your mine can start to fall apart as the company grows. There are several maps, professions and tools to try. If quotas stress you out, there's a peaceful mode that lets you mine at your own pace without the deadline. It's made by Bye Bye Ocean and came out on Steam in September 2025. It suits players who like dark humor, huge numbers, and a bit of time pressure in their idle games.
