Chop Chains

Chop Chains is a calm incremental about cutting down trees with your mouse. You don't click. You just move your cursor over the forest, and any tree your axe touches takes damage. Fallen trees drop wood, and there are several types with different values and rarities. You spend wood in a skill tree on permanent upgrades such as more power, a bigger axe and better luck. Later you unlock skills that change how you play, like lightning storms, chains of axes, and moles that show up to help. You can also combine different woods to craft new axes, which come with better stats and sometimes a special power, and legendary axes are waiting further in. Automation comes in through The Forest, which makes wood for you once it's unlocked, and Spawn Control, which lets you pick which trees appear so you can target the ones you want. It's from Blasted Games and came out on Steam in April 2026. Good for a relaxed session where you want steady progress without much clicking.
