shatAAAAp! leaves you stuck deep in the woods, unable to move, with only your ego left to protect. The forest animals are cute and they want to help you. You can't let that happen, so you fight them off with more and more absurd weapons. Every wave has twice as many animals as the one before, so things get out of hand quickly. You shoot, burn, electrocute and blow them up, and the damage types combine into combos and chain reactions. As you go, you upgrade everything, unlock new weapons and run into tougher animals. The whole game is built on overkill. Steam lists the release for 7 December 2026. It's a good pick if you like action incrementals with a dark sense of humor, and don't mind a lot of fire and bullets aimed at fluffy creatures. Fans of wave-survival games who want the numbers to double every round should keep an eye on it.
