A cozy wizard idle life sim that sits on your desktop. Join a coven, learn spells and pass your exams while you work.

Abracademia is a desktop-companion idle life-sim about five school years at a school of magic. It runs in a small window over whatever else you're doing, and your wizard gets on with their day at your pace — micromanage every hour or let the magic handle it, speed the day up, move the window around, or pause when you need the screen back. You start by making a wizard: appearance, background, wand, and a magical profile that decides your strengths, weaknesses and the kind of magic you lean toward. An entrance test sorts you into one of five covens, each with its own content and spell list. From there it's classes, activities, events and exams, with the rest of each day yours to spend — studious scholar, gossip, or quietly plotting noble. Progress comes as experience in 20 magical disciplines, unlocking more than 300 spells you can combine for boosts, better exam results, and the occasional unintended synergy. Other students are rivals, study partners or something closer, and friendships open up their own quests. There's a student leaderboard if you want the competition. From Seele Games. Due on Steam October 13, 2026.
